Davidson County SR-45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) Intersection at SR-6 (Gallatin Pk.)
The purpose of this project is to remove the concrete surface and underlying asphalt layer at the intersection of SR-45 (Old Hickory Blvd.) and SR-6 (US-31E, Gallatin Pk.) in Davidson County. The removal in most areas will be to a depth of 10”. A flexible pavement structure will then replace this. Existing curb and gutter will be replaced as needed.
The primary challenges of the project are how construction will be phased and how traffic will be maintained during construction where lane closures will be necessary.
