Public Transit Grant Monitoring
As a Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant recipient, TDOT is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive oversight activities of all subrecipients that receive FTA funding. As a result, the Office of Public Transportation Grant Monitoring Section is responsible for monitoring subrecipients for performance and compliance with all applicable governmental regulations. Grant monitoring activities are designed to educate and evaluate activities and performance of subrecipients. This is accomplished through site visits, reporting, training opportunities, and technical assistance efforts.
