The Assistant Chief Engineer of Operations is responsible for coordination of construction projects and maintenance and operations of the highway system. He has direct oversight for four headquarters and regional divisions: Traffic Operations, Materials and Tests, Construction, Maintenance, and Occupational Health and Safety.
