Tour TBI Headquarters


As as result of the ongoing health concerns surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, the TBI has temporarily suspended its tour program.

Tours are guided by a TBI staff member, run approximately 90 minutes, and are scheduled on a limited basis throughout the year. If you're interested in scheduling a tour, please complete this request form and a member of our staff will be in touch. 

The TBI schedules school group tours of TBI Headquarters for high school and college students twice a year as space and time permit. Students must be accompanied by a teacher and should have a career interest in criminal justice or forensic science. 

The TBI works to offers group tours for members of the general public as space and time permit. These 90-minute tours are designed to introduce participants to the vision, mission, and history of TBI. 

Those interested in individual tours should consider applying for the TBI Citizens' Academy.

  • Completing this form does not guarantee a place in an upcoming tour. Though the TBI makes every effort to accomodate all requests, tours are limited by time and space constraints.
  • Adults offered a spot in an upcoming tour must submit, in writing, their legal name and date of birth for a limited criminal history check, to be performed by TBI, at least 30 days before the tour.
  • Tour participants may not bring outside food to their tour of TBI Headquarters.
  • The use of cameras or recording devices is prohibited beyond the first floor of TBI's Headquarters.
