Tobacco is no longer accepted as a social norm; Tennessee teens are educating their peers and influencing younger youth on the dangers of tobacco. 

Shelby County Health Department - "We Don't Puff"

We Don't Puff

Congratulations to Shelby County Health Department's "We Don't Puff" initiative, Healthier Bartlett and Bartlett City Schools for taking an idea and running with it! They received over 100 entries!! Nine of them received "We Don't Puff" materials and a trophy. Three of them will be featured in Bartlett Area Parks. Shelby County is one step closer to Smoke-Free Parks! Way to go!

Painting with a Tobacco Twist

Wednesday Shoutouts! The Shelby County Health Department hosted a painting with a tobacco twist event last week. Students across the county gathered together for an evening of food, fun, and music! The purpose of the event was for students to create a neon glow anti-tobacco public messaging posters which will be displayed at a later event. Way to go SCHD!
