Watch these videos to learn more about maintaining a Healthy Home.


1. An Introduction to Healthy Homes (16:51)

Start here with an overview why a Healthy Home is important for you and your family.  Learn the Healthy Homes Principles.  Hear about lead hazards, asthma triggers, and other common housing concerns.  See examples of unhealthy housing conditions.

2. Single-Family Home, Northern Climate (14:34)

Observe a home inspector and housing specialist walk-thru a northern United States home doing a Healthy Homes evaluation.

3. Apartment Building, Northern Climate (13:35)

Apartments where many peole live close together have different Healthy Homes considerations.  Learn about the challenges cold, snowy winters can create for northern buildings.

6. Manufactured Home (11:18)

A manufactured home, or sometimes called a doublewide, mobile home, or trailer has different maintainence needs.  A common manufactured home problem of water infiltration is discussed.  A gas stove burner and exhaust fan are checked.  A carbon monoxide alarm is encouraged.

7. Communicating the Healthy Homes Message (17:57)
