We provide technical assistance and resources through workshops and roundtables to help drive an overall culture of environmental stewardship and sustainability best practices.

Get Food Smart TN seeks to promote using food wisely and enhance the sustainability of Tennessee's food resources.
Waste Reduction and Reuse Assistance for Businesses
OPSP can provide technical assistance and networking with service providers throughout the state to assist with repurposing and reuse of discarded materials.
Pollution Prevention (P2) Program
TDEC’s P2 program is partially funded through an EPA Pollution Prevention Grant and has three main components; (1) technical assistance and training, (2) Tennessee Sustainable Spirits, and the (3) Tennessee Green Star Partnership.
Tennessee Green Star Partnership
The Tennessee Green Star Partnership (TGSP) is TDEC’s environmental leadership program that seeks to recognize Tennessee Industries that are committed to sustainable practices and continuous improvement throughout their entire operation.
Tennessee Sustainable Spirits
Tennessee Sustainable Spirits is a voluntary recognition and technical assistance program, which seeks to reduce operational costs and environmental impacts for wineries and wine growers, breweries, and distilleries as well as serve as a gateway to sustainability education through popular brands.
Clean Tennessee Energy Grants
Over the period of six years a total of 133 grants were given across the state totaling over $13.6 million with the rest of the grant money obligated to State facilities.
