Spring Creek Scenic River
Spring Creek is located along the Upper Cumberland Plateau near Cookeville. Like Blackburn Fork River it is a tributary of the Roaring River with no public canoe/kayak access points. Spring Creek Gorge and Waterloo Falls are the most significant geological features of the scenic river.
Jackson & Overton Counties
Class I Natural River Area Waterloo Mill, downstream approximately 4.4 miles, to the Overton-Jackson County line; Class II Pastoral River Area from the Overton-Jackson County line, downstream approximately 4.6 miles, to the confluence of the Roaring River. Designated in 1968.
