Laptop Rental Program
The Laptop Rental Program is an innovative approach to providing devices that helps affordability and sustainability to districts by leveraging the residual value of devices to drive down a monthly subscription cost. As the need for student laptop devices becomes increasingly important for schools, the state has created this process to assist Education Authorities (EAs) in acquiring these devices and services. All contractors have been pre-qualified through a state Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to participate in this program. Depending on the EA's local procurement policies, EAs may (1) select one of the contractors and execute contracts in accordance with the pricing listed on the state contract with that vendor; or (2) engage in a mini-bid process where the pre-qualified contractors bid their best and lowest price for each procurement. This contract is available for use by all State EAs.
